Body Anatomy and Pattern




 

My project ‘Body Pattern’ currently I explore negative space with anatomy from abstract forms I found. I am inspired by retro abstract patterns that complementary colours that are eye catching.

Colour Museum and Match Box Museum Evaluation   My view on Colour Museum was interesting by discovering varieties of objects that I collected, my area of my colour was brown and the reason I chosen brown was natural and tonal contrast with other colours.   My research on my brown objects I found varieties of places from my home, the beach and haberdashery shops to my items I collected showed a graduated colour tonal and the light. My Porcelain clay button

 I use my porcelain clay to create a brown button from my  collections.The process was recorded at each stages to show the shape and form on the button surface. I use variety of tools to design my button surface such as a carving and pin tool. On my final piece I added texture to show depth on my design.

Vivienne Westwood and Katharine Hamnett

My artists research for my homage project wereKatharine Hamnett and Vivienne Westwood. I was much inspired with their homage with words. Katherine Hamnett designs clothes showing  bold text. Katherine Hamnett expresses her designs visually not as a verbal speech. Vivienne Westwood's design collection shows a political statement such as 'Climate Revolution'.
